Located 200 ft. away from the Atlantic Ocean, the Atlantic Beach Tennis Center has 13 har-tru clay courts, with a beautifully renovated club house. The club house has a terrace, a stadium court with outdoor lighting, and a balcony from which you can view the entire facility and1the ocean. Additionally, our facility offers newly renovated locker rooms with showers and saunas, a tennis shop, snack bar, a t.v. lounge, and a 24-hr racquet restringing service. Picture1yourself playing your favorite sport on a beautiful court steps away from the beach. The Junior tennis camp at Atlantic Beach Tennis Center offers this experience along with expert tennis1instruction for beginners through advanced juniors. Parents can relax near the ocean as their children maximize and learn tennis skills this summer at the ABTC Junior Tennis Camp, the largest on1the South Shore. For children ages 6-18, the camp is led by Shabir Mohamed, a coach for 30 years who has trained ranked USTA players. ABTC provides a positive learning environment where players learn the fundamentals of tennis, acquire1skills that advance their game to the next level and promote a positive attitude. Campers get to practice tennis on 13 state-of-the-art courts, and they may also cool down in the pool at the Sunny Atlantic Beach Club. Full- and half-day camp programs are available by the week or month from June 20 through Labor1Day. For those in the 4-6 age range, we introduce the sport of tennis in a fun Pee Wee program. And children aged 5-12 who have limited tennis experience are invited to expand their knowledge of techniques with semi-private lessons. Adults and children are welcome to private lessons, in which they may learn the1basics or tweak their games. ABTC additionally offers court rentals, memberships, adult tennis lessons, as well as birthday parties for children.
